Warming plate made of porcelain and metal. It has two handles and a covered spout meant to pour hot water into the base to keep the plate warm. The porcelain is decorated with apples and blossoms and a typical Imari inspired coloring (shades of brick red, dark blue, brown and gold).

The plate is marked on the underside: F, James Dixon & Sons, Sheffield, Nickel Plated Brittania Metal. It also has a trumpet symbol. In good, used condition minor signs of wear and old metal repairs. Please ask questions, request photos and shipping costs prior to bidding.
