Watson (b. 1928), one of the co-discoverers of the structure of DNA and winner of the 1962 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, wrote the cover story “The Race to Discover the Secret of DNA” in the January 1968 issue. He signed the cover <I>“James D. Watson”</B></I>.
