DS, one onionskin page, 8.5 x 11, April 22, 1958. Cagney and Robert Montgomery agree “to purchase all of the worldwide dramatic rights to the life story of the said Fleet Admiral William F. Halsey,” with Cagney-Montgomery Productions purchasing the option for the sum of $2000. Signed at the conclusion by Cagney and Robert Montgomery. In fine condition, with two punch holes to top edge, and some mild edge toning. Two years later Cagney would star as Halsey in the bio-pic The Gallant Hours, directed by Montgomery. It would be the only film released by their production company.
