British film composer best known for his work in the Hammer horror films. AMQS on an off-white 10.5 x 14.5 musically-lined sheet. Bernard pens 12 intricate bars from the Dracula theme, signed at the top, “Original Dracula theme from Hammer Films’ ‘The Horror of Dracula,’ composed by James Bernard,” and signed and inscribed at the bottom, “This copy has been made by the composer for James Weaver and his students of Woodland Hills School District, Pittsburgh, PA, with all best wishes from James Bernard, 25th April 1988 (about 30 years after I first wrote it! - but Dracula always rises again!).” In fine condition, with a central horizontal fold.
