James Arness’s favorite sitting chair with hand written and signed receipt from his wife Janet Arness. The chair is Spanish revival measuring approximately 48” in height by 24”. The chair is carved hardwood dates from the late 19th to early 20th-century. This is the type chair that every Spanish Don would have at his hacienda. The chair shows some repairs and fixing as it was kept and used a long while. The chair seemed to fit the stature of Arness who was over 6’6” and matched his personality. Hand signed receipt from Janet Arness wife of James Arness star of the iconic Western TV series “Gunsmoke”. Est. $750 $1,500.
