Garfield</B></I>”, 8” x 10.5”, on Thirty Eighth Congress letterhead, July 25, 1865, toned, with a few small splits, fold creases, else very good; an autograph note signed “<I>Thos: L. James</B></I>” (Postmaster General), on a 4” x 2.5” card dated February 6, 1888, mounted inside a paper folder, else fine; an autograph card, 4” x 2.5”, signed “<I>S. J. Kirkwood Iowa</B></I>” (Secretary of the Interior), mounted inside a paper folder, slightly stained, else very good; an autograph letter, 5” x 8”, on Department of Justice letterhead, dated April 20, 1881, signed “<I>Wayne MacVeagh</B></I>” (Attorney General), mounted inside a paper folder, with stain affecting the signature, generally toned, else very good; a Department of State document, autograph card, and two clipped signatures signed “<I>James G. Blaine</B></I>” (Secretary of State), in very good to fine condition; autograph card, 3.5” x 2”, signed “<I>William H. Hunt</B></I>” (Secretary of the Navy), mounted inside a paper folder, else fine; canceled check drawn on the Atchison National bank, dated March 11, 1898, signed “<I>John J. Ingalls</B></I>” (Senator from Kansas), in very good condition; and a clipped signature and autograph note signed “<I>Robert T.
