Attractive pair of identical color 14 x 22.5 posters for the Jamaican Reggae Festival held at the Music Inn in Lenox, Massachusetts, on August 20, 1978, with the headliners listed as Burning Spear, Toots and the Maytals, and Max Romeo. In overall fine condition, with light creasing to the top and bottom edges.

From 1950 until 1979, David Rothstein’s Music Inn was an estate turned hippie-hangout that once housed the famed Lenox School of Jazz. During its three-decade-long run, the venue was dedicated to the ‘presentation and perpetuation of the American, particularly African-American, musical tradition,’ and hosted acts ranging from Louis Armstrong and Joan Baez to John Lee Hooker and the Kinks.
