<BR>(1930-)<BR>
<P>This Belgian painter was born in 1930 in Etterbeck, Brussels. <P>His focus is primarily landscapes and urban-scape, done in an impressionist style, and engravings.<P>Muller studied at the Academy of Art Work in Brussels and continued his studies at the Academy of the Grande Chaumiere in Paris and in the studio of Kokoschka in Salzburg.<P>Muller also taught classes at the Academy of Art Work in Etterbeck. A retrospection of his work was exhibited in New York at the International Art Gallery in 1992.<P>Muller used a depouille style, leaving large parts of the canvas blank. He expressed himself through lines and at the same time by smashing colors together. New York is a frequent source of inspiration in his work.<P>Bibliography: J.
