In full: “We may be back Sunday night for supper—so just see there are enough hamburgers or something Kathleen can whip up— & enough for Mon. am breakfast.—Please fix 2 guest room beds—as William Smith & nurse move in on Tues. Thanks so much & please see the house is closed up when you leave—& turn out lights.” Some may recognize the William Smith mentioned in Kennedy’s note, as the notorious William Kennedy Smith, who in 1991 was involved in an alleged rape at the Kennedy’s Palm Beach compound, of which he was later acquitted. In fine condition.
