In full: “I am overjoyed–and deeply touched, to have for my very own, a copy of Modern Greek Poetry–inscribed by you–so beautifully inscribed. Please know how much I shall treasure it. I am reading it again, these last days in Greece, and finding things I never found before–as always happens when you turn back to something you love. Thank you with all my heart. I shall be looking forward to that someday when I hope we shall meet.” In fine condition, with central horizontal and vertical fold, and a uniform shade of mild toning. Accompanied by the original transmittal envelope, addressed in Onassis’s hand. A graciously worded letter from one of America’s most beloved first ladies.
