Item/Description: Vintage Pennsylvania Dutch folk art protection sign featuring two unicorns facing each other with a heart and trinity tulips in the middle; surrounded by a circular border.

Created by Jacob Zook, an 11th generation Pennsylvania Dutchman, who began creating silk screened hex designs in 1942 to sell as souvenirs for the tourist industry. For over 250 years, visitors coming into Lancaster County visited Zook’s historic home and shop in Paradise, Pennsylvania, which has been on the National Register of Historic Places since 1995.
