Artist Jacob Asanger,American Gouache landscape by Aritist Jacob Asanger. "Jacob Asanger" was born in1887 in Altotting Bavaria and died in 1941in Los Angeles. He was well known for his portraits and landscape paintings.This lovely painting depicts white birch trees next to water with distant hills,white puffy clouds and evergreens. Signed lower left J. Asanger. The painting is all original including the frame. C1930. Measures 5 and three quarters inches by 6 and three quarters inches.
