Two fantastic photos: vintage matte-finish 16 x 20 photo of Coogan dressed in rags for one of his early films, signed in the lower right in black ink by the photography studio, “Strauss Peyton”; and a vintage matte-finish 16 x 20 photo of Jean Darling as she appeared in the classic Our Gang shorts, also signed in the lower right in black ink by the photography studio, “Strauss Peyton.” Some light scattered soiling and a bit of paper loss to upper right corner of the Coogan photo, otherwise overall fine condition. Two fantastic, rich images of two of the silent era’s child stars. Provenance: Christie’s East, 1989.
