Jackie Chan's hands are weapons, and also defenders of peace, and one of them has been marvelously recreated here in this amazing sculpture. Renowned artist Joseph Malara created this sculpure directly from the hand of the martial arts master, giving a peace sign. This sculpture is hand painted bronze, mounted on a rare multi-colored granite mount, and is signed by Malara. Realistic detail of impeccable quality has gone into this impressive work. Jackie Chan himself granted approval for this casting, and eventual production of this masterful work of art.
Malara has created 14 hands of Jackie Chan -- all originals! This is 1 of 1 in a series of 14, (many different hand positions, thumbs up, open hands, fist, and other peace signs) 2 are designated as Museum pieces, 4 are in the possession of Malara and are not for sale, and 2 are owned by Jackie Chan, and are on display in China. All of Jackie Chan's sculptures come with "Complete Official Documentation."
Malara's exclusive casting process, combined with special finishing techniques, involve a one time temporal mold per work -- with no master mold. Malara's sculptures therefore can NEVER be duplicated or copied. It is thereby a one-of-a-kind piece. Malara created this in the sprit of Historical Preservation, and it is truly museum quality.
"Complete Official Documentation" is included. This means that Malara has PALM and FINGERPRINTED Jackie Chan-- pretty brave of the artist, we'd say! In addtion, Jackie also signed a "Release Form" and an "Affidavit of Authenticity & Official Authorization Form," all done in front of the artist, with additional signed witnesses! Entire Agreement; Waiver. This Agreement, including the Universal’s User Agreement and all exhibits and other documents are incorporated herein by reference, set forth the entire understanding and agreement of the parties and supersede any and all other written or oral agreements or understandings between the parties as to the subject matter of this Agreement. In the event of an inconsistency between this Agreement and any other document, which is part of this Agreement, the terms of this Agreement shall govern. From time to time during the term of this Agreement, Universal Collectibles, Universal B&I or Universal Live Auctions may amend this Agreement (including any incorporated documents) by posting the amended terms on any Universal site, emailing notice of the amendment to the Buyer, or otherwise communicating such amendment to the Buyer. Each amendment will be effective immediately after it is initially posted on any Universal site, emailed to the Buyer, or otherwise communicated to the Buyer. The waiver of a breach of any provision of this Agreement will not operate or be interpreted as a waiver of any other or subsequent breach.
