Jackie achieved distinction as one of the most outstanding Indian Kachina artist in the southwest. In 1974 Jackie realized his calling was his art and is self taught. He reports that his subjects call to him as he paints what he sees. Jackie's art depicts the many elements of both contemporary and traditional life of Native Americans, and his style and grace as an artist has flourished with his signature vibrant colors and sweeping form.
