Vintage glossy 8 x 10 photo, signed and inscribed “Hello Doctor! Old Boy! Old Boy! A brick to you, and that’s what you are, Jack Warner, May 14/35.” In very good condition, with light creasing, moderate rippling, scattered areas of toning, pin holes to the corners, a small area of paper loss to the top right corner, and light contrast to the signature. This image captures a moment in the dear relationship between two best friends, the co-founder of Warner Brothers studios and the American studio manager, a union that was cut tragically short when Doc Salomon was killed as a result of a bomb that was dropped on the London studio he was working in during WWII.
