Irish actor (1918–1973) best known for his work with Samuel Beckett and in The Exorcist and for his most important role in The Fearless Vampire Killers. Glossy 7.5 x 9.5 photo of the actor in a monk’s robe, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “For Mrs. Edith Hillstrom, Yours Sincerely, Jack MacGowran, April 1969.” In very good condition, with moderate creasing, surface impressions from writing on the reverse, and spotting to the emulsion.
