Signed book: The Testimony of the Suns and Other Poems by George Sterling. First edition. San Francisco: W. E. Wood, 1903. Hardcover, 5.5 x 7.75, 142 pages. Signed and inscribed on the first free end page, "Dear Mr. Harrison, Find herein the biggest, truest poet to-day on the Pacific Coast. Jack London, Jan. 5, 1904." Autographic condition: very good, with irregular toning to signed page, not detracting from the large signature. Book condition: VG/None, with light surface wear to covers, bumps to corners, and spine just a touch loose. Sterling was a poet who became a significant figure in Bohemian literary circles in northern California in the early 1900s and was close friends with London.
