<B>Jack Kirby and Vince Colletta - Thor #148 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1968).</B></I> It's covers like this that made Jack Kirby the "King" of Marvel comics. Crackling with power, bristling with blistering battle action, this Silver Age sensation stands as a pulse-pounding portrait of the wrathful Wrecker facing off against Sif, Balder, and the Mighty Thor. Presented in a large format, this "twice-up" piece measures approximately 17.5" x 23" overall, with an approximate image area of 13.5" x 20.25". There is some use of white-out on the cover and some editorial notations in the margins, but these do little to detract from the overall eye-appeal of this art. The titles and logos are stats. The Thor figure and Sif's hand are paste-ons, but these elements are original inked art, not stats; otherwise, the cover is in Excellent condition.
