Jack Kirby - Original Cover Art for Mister Miracle #15 (DC, 1973). Considered by some to be Kirby's greatest creation, Mister Miracle, the man whom no trap could hold, was based on real-life magician/escape artist and comics legend Jim Steranko. Part of Kirby's Fourth World epic (still an important force in comics today), Mister Miracle made a career out of battling the minions of Apokolips and opposing the plans of his evil stepfather, Darkseid. On this pulse-pounding cover, Mister Miracle and his apprentice Shilo Norman are surrounded by the menacing minions of the evil Mr. Fez! Can they escape? What do you think? Covers from Kirby's Fourth World titles are becoming harder and harder to find. This one, measuring approximately 11.75" x 17.5" is in excellent condition. The title portion is a stat, but the rest is pure Kirby genius. Important notice: We expect to be auctioning lots at the rate of 200-250 per hour.
