<B>Jack Kirby and Joe Sinnott - Fantastic Four #53, page 7 Original Art (Marvel, 1966).</B></I> The art-team supreme of Jack Kirby and Joe Sinnott were in peak form for this page from the Marvel milestone, "The Way It Began." The Black Panther recalls, in flashback form, his first, deadly encounter with Klaw, the Master of Sound. Now it can be told -- according to Jack Kirby's penciled plot notes, written in the margins of this page, he originally intended for the character Klaw to be named "Ahab." With that in mind, the character does resemble Gregory Peck's appearance in the film "Moby Dick" as Ahab quite a bit. This piece has an image area of 12.5" x 18.5".
