The flower has a beautiful salmon color with a tri-fold top that is shaped to look like a wild flower. The vase was made using the technique of stretch glass. The way they did this was to use gravity or swinging the glass in a circle to stretch it, or make it longer, thereby, any pattern in the glass is also stretched. This is visible if you look at the bottom of the base, and yuou can see a pattern, and then looking at the stem of the vase, you can see it was stretched or distorted. This piece is hand blown, and has a very sharp pontil. 7 1/2"" tal and the flower is 4 1/2"" across from side to side.
