Early major league pitcher (1882–1957) who played for the Philadelphia Athletics, Brooklyn Robins, and Detroit Tigers, he is one of only 13 pitchers to win 30 games in a season since 1900. Vintage ink signature, “Jack W. Coombs,” on an off-white 5 x 3 card with a typed notation along the top. In fine condition, with a mild shade of overall toning.
