Bbls. 25 1/2" are fitted with ERA swing off mounts, flip up U-notch rear and silver bead front sights in full length matted rib. Tops of bbls. are marked with Sauer & steel information. Bottoms of bbls. are stamped with 1958 East German Nitro proofs for 16 Ga., 2 3/4" and 7x65 rimmed rifle cartridge. Coin finished double Kirsten blitz O/U action is fitted with ornamental sideplates and features nonautomatic safety and gold plated double triggers (front set). Action is engraved with 50% coverage simple scroll. Fences are semi relief engraved with large shaded scroll. Sideplates have more scroll surrounding portraits of game animals in semi relief with mouflon ram on left plate and roebuck on right. "Original Sauer" trademark is on triggerplate. Capped pistolgrip stock of lightly marbled European walnut measures 14 3/8" over black open sided pad. Stock features slight hogback to comb, shadowline right hand cheekpiece and pointed ebony gripcap, bottom inlet with relief cast oval with face of charging wild boar. In place of checkering, grip is carved with fishscales at center which is flanked by relief carved scroll. Left side of butt has semi relief carved scene of roaring stag in open woodland and a band of relief scroll is around butt. Matching one piece forend has Deeley release. Combo is mounted with Schmidt & Bender 2-10x56 30mm rail scope with lighted fine crosshair and 3 post reticle in ERA swing off mounts. MEASUREMENTS: SHOTGUN BBL: Bore Diameter: .664". UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: black plastic case. CONDITION: fine. Bbls. retaining nearly all of an old reblack over scattered frosting & with some subsequent freckling. Coin finish of action shows light cleaning and is overall silver gray. Stocks show considerable wear to their original oil finish. All bores are bright and shiny. Action is tight. Scope is very fine with only 1 or 2 minor nicks in exterior lacquer. Optically clear. Reticle not checked, battery dead. There are two additional holes drilled in bottom of rail. (22-4877/MGM).
