On his personal letterhead to Mrs. H.E. Whyte informing her of a gift he has sent upon her recent marriage. In full, “<i>I am sending you a little check, as a wedding gift, rather than risk duplicating something you may already have, and feeling that you would prefer to make your own selection. Please accept with this my best wishes for you and the fortunate Mr. Whyte, with the hope that you may have long and happy lives together</i>.” Large signature at conclusion, boldly penned by the elderly philanthropist. 1. Auction Catalogue No. 19 is a Mail, Fax, Phone, Email and
Internet Live Bid Auction and is conducted under the laws of the State
of West Virginia by Gil Griggs, Licensee of Charleston, W. V. License
No. 002.
2. Absentee bid closing date is April 5th, 2002, 10:00 PM EST.
3. There is a 15% Buyer’s Premium charged on the final hammer price
of each lot. An additional 2½% Premium will be added to any lots
purchased through ebayliveauctions.com.
4. The Auctioneer reserves the right to reject any bid for any
reason.

6. In the event of duplicate high bids, the earliest bid received
will be the winner.
