Additional Information: This lithograph is hand signed in pencil by the artist "Miro" at the lower right corner.
It is inscribed in pencil "H.C" (Hors Commerce).
The work was printed in a limited edition of 75 impressions by Arte Adrien Maeght. Our is one of the rare proofs made aside the regular edition.
It was published by Maeght, Paris in 1969.
In 1969 Miro released a series of large and colourful lithographs. This series used the same lithographic plates but each print was printed in different colours and each time Miro experimented with different ways of using the plates. The Red Entertainer is one of the most successful attempts in this iconic series.
The paper bears the BFK Rives watermark.

Condition: Some strong creases in the top right hand corner of the paper. Plus one on top of the image (top of the figure) and one at the bottom right of the figure. Two creases on the left side of the image.
