Sopko's specific conception reflexts itself in the distinct reduction of the figure, reinforced (seemingly paradoxically) by two separated heads rising in a dreamy hyperbole freely up into space. The isolated motif of a head whose grimace is the carrier of a cruel, anxious warning message (M. Judlova ),is underlined by the large space of an otherwise empty background, filled only with an agressively deep yellow, this painter's favourite colour, which is here accentuated by red blotches and a violet strip in the lower part of the painting.
