Original press release with transcript of one of President Kennedy’s final speeches delivered 18 November 1963. In Tampa, Florida, JFK commemorated the 50th anniversary of aviation pioneer Tony Jannus’ flight from Tampa to St. Petersburg. Excerpts from the speech include, “…Because of Tony Jannus…this country is Number 1 in aviation…I hope in the 1960’s that the United States of America will take the leadership again in space…” Two pages on single sheet measuring 8” x 14” has light toning and creasing, else near fine.
