Original John F. Kennedy assassination teletype. Dated 23 November 1963, teletype discusses the reaction to JFK's assassination and gives a profile of his successor. In part: “…Lyndon…Johnson is a 6-Foot, 3-Inch Texan with a reputation as a man who gets things done…He also has a streak of vanity…Johnson sometimes loses his temper, but he is no Pop-Off…” Document measures 8.5'' x 23'' and contains a vertical tear measuring approximately 1'' from the top edge. Otherwise very good condition.
