Original press release issued by the Office of the White House Press Secretary dated 13 November 1963 publicizing President John F. Kennedy’s visit to Cape Canaveral to inspect NASA’s new Merrit Island Launch Area and to check on the progress of the United States efforts to reach the moon. NASA officials were scheduled to brief JFK on the Germini, Titan II, Saturn I and Saturn V lunar programs. 8” x 10” document has light creasing and toning, otherwise in near fine condition.
