<p>LIABILITYS FOR FAULTS
All lots are sold as found, it’s the buyers responsibility to examine the condition and nature of lots carefully before the auction takes place. Any details given in the catalogue, such as provenance, technique and condition are intended merely as a guidance to buyers when examining the objects. If, at a buyers request, Auktionskammaren issues an opinion as to a lots general condition and any damage, repairs etc. that information, like the catalogue information, is intended merely as a guidance to the buyer, and does not relieve the buyer from his or her duty of examination. If any material statement in the catalogue is directly misleading , this may be grounds for redscinding the purchase. Auktionskammaren does not accept any liability for natural wear and tear, defect, minor damages etc. Clocks, clockwork and instrument etc are sold as objects of art and Auktionskammaren gives no warranty that they are in working order.
Any defects must be complained as soon as the buyer has noticed or should have noticed them, and in any event within 10 workingdays of the date of the auction.
<p>DISPUTES
Disputes concerning these terms shall be settled in accordance with Swedish law at court in Sweden.
<p>BIDDING
The highest bidder is the buyer at the hammerprice. Any person bidding on behalf of another party is liable for completion of the sale. In event of equal bids or disputes that may arise during the bidding, the auctioneer alone will decide which bid confers the right of purchase. The auctioneer is entitled to disregard bids from any unreliable bidder and to determine whether bidding shall be resumed because of doubt concerning the last bid.
The auctioneer is also entitled to decide the minimum increment of the bids. At the request of Auktionskammaren bidders shall be able to document their ability to pay and to provide proof of their identity at any time.
<p>Bidding should be made with loud voice or clear sign, preferably by using a numbered paddle, wich may be obtained from Customerservice before the auction.
<p>Absentee bids
Auktionskammaren accepts absentee bids free of charge. When absentee bids are submitted acceptable references must be supplied and ID enclosed. Absenteee bids must be received by Auktionskammaren 2 hours before the auction starts.
The absentee bids are treated confidentially and Auktionskammaren bids as favourably as possible on behalf of the buyer. Auktionskammaren is not liable for any loss that the client may be caused if Auktionskammaren fails to carry out the bidding assignment. It is furthermore up to the customer to find out whether his bid has resulted in a purchase.
<p>DROIT DE SUITE
On objects of art an additional fee of 5% of the hammerprice shall be paid in accordance with the Swedish copyright Art, unless the work was created by an artist who died more than 70 years ago. Work of art selling less than SEK 1930 are excluded.
<p>PREMIUM
In connection with purchase a premium of 18,75 incl. VAT on the hammerprice is payable for each lot.
