<table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="4"><tr><td><em> </em></td></tr><tr> <td width="100%"> Fabulous 19th century butter or cheese dish. Jasperware in the WEDGWOOD tradition, made by the Adams Company, England. Measures 5 1/4" diameter; height to top of finial is 3" and excluding finial is 2 1/2". Round jasperware dish. Fantastic scenes depicting rural life, including hunt dogs (who have just killed a rabbit), 2 waiting horses and the hunters themselves jumping over a fence, perhaps being poachers and illegally tresspassing. The detail of the work is fantastic: almost every blossom of the tree is individually depicted; the rippling muscles of the horses are clearly defined. The work is almost 3 dimentional. It is in very good condition with no chips/cracks. However, the inside has some discolouration and a patch of dark crazing (that will whiten up if left in bleach). The plain lid is made of EPNS silver. Underneath has two impressed marks: ADAMS ESTB 1657 and TUNSTALL ENGLAND. ALso an impressed J. The lid has impressed EPNS. </td></tr><tr> <td> </td></tr><tr> <td>Reference #: 770</td></tr><tr><td>Condition:See Description</td></tr><tr><td>Year:See Description</td></tr><tr><td>Title:JASPERWARE BUTTER CHEESE DISH HUNT DOGS HORSE</td></tr><tr><td>Location:Boca Raton</td></tr></table>
