JASON AND THE ARGONAUTS (1963) - Ray Harryhausen Hand-Drawn Concept of Triton (William Gudgeon) and
A hand-drawn concept sketch from circa 1961 displaying Triton (William Gudgeon) and the Argo from the Don Chaffey fantasy-adventure film Jason and the Argonauts. The image shows Triton, son of Poseidon, holding back the rocks to allow the Argo safe passage.

It is executed in charcoal on paper. A black ink border completes the composition. The lower-right corner is torn with a tape repair, and a section of the upper-right corner is missing. Otherwise the artwork is in very good condition. Dimensions: 43 cm x 56 cm (17'' x 22'')
