IVORY: Seven Japanese ivory figurines representing the seven gods of fortune to include Benten (goddess of beauty and art), Jurojin (god of long life), Daikoku (god of farmers) Eibisu (god of fishermen), Bishamon (god of warriors), Hotei (god of happiness and children), and Fukuroku (god of learning). Each figurine is hand carved, signed, and measures approx 2'', some yellowing, damage to both feet on one figurine. Figurines come with a carved Asian hardwood presentation stand and storage box, circa 1930's-1940's.
