Lot # 639 JAPANESE SCHOOL (Early 20th Century) NEEDLEWORK TIGER Silk needlework shows crouching tiger on rock outcropping overlooking water and rock. Gold, black and brown threads on a brown silk background. Housed in a carved exotic wood frame. The back of the frame and picture is silk lined with a US Customs label from the Panama-Pacific International Exposition. This exposition was held and was also referred to as the World’s Fair of 1915 held in San Francisco, CA. SIGHT SIZE: 10-3/4” x 19-1/4”. CONDITION: Fair.
