Japanese lacquered and gilded inro box having five sections and four compartments. Gold lacquered interior. Has lapis inro bead and ivory netsuke depicting a man and child standing on a table, signed with calligraphy to bottom. Lot also includes a netsuke constructed of ivory and bronze. Bronze has a gilded design depicting a man with long arms. Has etched signature to bottom of bronze disc, measuring 1 3/4" diameter (4.4cm). Edo to Showa period. Inro measures 3 1/8" length (7.9cm). Netsuke of man and boy measures 1 1/2" height (3.8cm). Total weight of 77 grams.
