This 20th century cloisonné sword cane has a royal blue background, with cloud pattern over entire length, includingasymmetrical knob-like handle, which is 2.5" by 1.5" and 1" high. The end of the knob and sword handle has floraldesign. Middle part of shaft has stylized floral design and distal end has dragon. Cane has 1.25" wide brass bandbelow handle, a scalloped 1" band at midshaft and 2.25" wide bands holding the rubber ferrule to the shaft and thesword to the handle. The wider bands have geometric cut-out designs. The 27" long sword blade has never beensharpened. Ferrule also shows no wear. Cane is in velvet lined box with patterned silk cover. Minor water/humiditydamage to box at one end. Overall length of cane is 35.5", box is 37" long.(EST 600-800)
