<hr align=left size=5 width=33% color=#778899>(1742-1798). A <b>Signer</b> of Declaration of Independence; associate justice of US Supreme Court (1789-98). He and John Morton were the first of the PA delegates to vote for independence, and they were the only ones, except Benjamin Franklin, who voted for the adoption of the Declaration on Jul 4. He was one of only six men to sign both the Declaration and the Constitution. Partially printed DS, “<i>Wilson</i>,” 1p, 8vo, Carlisle, Cumberland County, PA, Oct 1774. Warrant directing the Sheriff to arrest Eneas McCallister for a court appearance in a civil suit. Boldly signed on docket panel. Wilson had built a very successful law practice in Carlisle at the time. General moderate toning, especially along edges and along weak folds; left vertical fold cleanly separated for half its length with no paper loss, well away from signature. VG.

11. All bidding is done in a competitive manner. The
winning bid will always be one bidding increment
over the second highest bid. The minimum
acceptable bid for any lot is 50% of the low
estimate given in the item description or $25,
whichever is higher.

12. Payment is expected immediately upon receipt of
invoice. All accounts are payable to Signature
House. Payment must be made in U.S. funds. Wire
transfer details are available upon request.
West Virginia residents will pay a sales tax of
6% unless a resale number is filed with us prior
to the closing date. For sales outside of the USA
a credit card is requested.

13. Shipment is made via U.S. Postal Service or
Airborne unless otherwise instructed. Handling,
shipping and insurance charges are added to the
invoice. Oversize and foreign shipments are subject
to increased charges. All items are shipped
immediately upon receipt of payment.

14. Golden Guarantee: All material is returnable within
seven days providing that it comes back in the same
condition. There is a lifetime guarantee on
authenticity to the original purchaser. The item(s)
must be returned with two letters denying it’s
authenticity by expert authenticators acceptable
