Interesting A.L.S. signed in text "<i>Mr. Lowell</i>" in the third person, 1p. 8vo., Roxbury [Mass.], Nov. 4, 1833 begging "<i>...Gen. Dearborn's acceptance of a Roxbury production, a pine apple. It is well ripened but its size is but half as great than these, which he cut early in the season. His friends, who have tasted his pines, have pronounced them superior to any imported fruit...There is nothing extraordinary in raising pine apples, but there are raised on Mr. Knights new plan as simply & cheaply as a Cancellia or Geranium...</i>".
