"Mr Monroe presents his best respects to Lord Holland and is sorry to inform him that Mr Purviance [?] has not arrived in town & will not till tomorrow evening or the next day. An ill founded suspician that some of the seamen were sick of a contagious disease is the cause of the delay, but orders are issued for permitting him to land & come to London. Mr Monroe has the pleasure to inform Lord Holland that Mr Pinkney & he propose waiting on his Lordship tomorrow between 12 & 1 for the purpose of presenting to him two of his young countrymen.
