Attractive bound leather book from his library entitled <i>Debates in Congress</i>, 6½"x10", 678pp, Gales and Seaton, Washington, 1830. “<i>Comprising the Leading Debates and Incidents of the First Session of the Twenty-First Congress</i>.” Polk has boldly signed in brown ink on the title page. Accompanied by a letter of deaccession from the holdings of the Tennessee Historical Society in cooperation with the Tennessee State Library and Archives. Front cover cleanly separated; moderate scuffing; State library markings appear throughout book; light toning of interior text; o/w in good condition.</span></p>

1. Auction Catalogue No. 19 is a Mail, Fax, Phone, Email and
Internet Live Bid Auction and is conducted under the laws of the State
of West Virginia by Gil Griggs, Licensee of Charleston, W. V. License
No. 002.
2. Absentee bid closing date is April 5th, 2002, 10:00 PM EST.
3. There is a 15% Buyer’s Premium charged on the final hammer price
of each lot. An additional 2½% Premium will be added to any lots
purchased through ebayliveauctions.com.
4. The Auctioneer reserves the right to reject any bid for any
reason.

6. In the event of duplicate high bids, the earliest bid received
will be the winner.
