JAMES BOND: A VIEW TO A KILL

Japanese B2 Posters (3) (20" x 28.75")
Fine+ Folded; Artwork by Dan Goozee
UIP, 1985

This first of three B2 posters is rolled and boasts artwork by Dan Goozee, which depicts James Bond 007 and May Day (Grace Jones) standing back-to-back along with a scene of Bond with beautiful Stacey Sutton (Tanya Roberts) on the upper cables of San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge. It is in outstanding condition with only a few nicks along the bottom of the left edge and a small crease on the bottom left corner. The second B2 poster depicts photographic images of Roger Moore as 007 along with Grace Jones, Christopher Walken and Tanya Roberts. This example is rolled with four light horizontal folds, corner pinholes, corner creases, several small ink stains, and signs of crimping with small creases frm handling. The colors are fresh and vibrant and this style boasts a great design. The third poster features a striking design of James Bond 007 (Roger Moore), gun at-the-ready, with May Day (Grace Jones) looming behind him. Folded as issued, this example has pinholes of various sizes, general fold wear, light corner creases and signs of handling.

Roger Moore's final outing as Agent 007, in which he must foil a plot by a Nazi-spawned businessman (Christopher Walken) who wants to flood Silicon Valley. Most memorable for Grace Jones' fierce performance as Mayday and its poptastic theme song by Duran Duran.
