Good content L.S. ""Andrew Jackson"" as President, 1p. 8vo., [n.p.], May 12, 1830, to publisher and engraver Cephas G. Childs of Philadelphia. In part: ""...I received through Mr. Atwater the series of views which you were good enough to present to me, and acknowledged their receipt...but finding from your note of the 21st ulto that my note did not reach you, I take pleasure in repeating an expression of my thanks..."". The ""series of views"" mentioned was the Childs' important series ""Views in Philadelphia and its Environs,"" published in 1830, for which Jackson was among the subscribers.
