"J. Purdey, 314-1/2 Oxford Street, London" signed 10 gauge double barrel percussion shotgun with 25-1/4" barrels, 42" overall. The gun shows 80-90% tobacco brown on striped barrels, showing some minor wear and lossesat the edges and muzzle. The locks, hammers, breech, tang and butt show 60-80% case hardening that is drifting and toning. The trigger guard shows 20-40% toning original blue and is numbered 5281. The stocks arevery good with coarse checkering, some minor scratches, small imperfections, but generally very good overall. An original to-the-period ramrod is retained. The actions are good, generally very goodcondition overall. The gun weighs 5-3/4 lbs. Est.: $3,000-$6,000+++

We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Preview on October 27th 7 28th 9:00 to 11:00 am each day.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
