J.. P. Sauer & Sons pre-war Royal grade 12 gauge side-by-side shotgun serial number 122998. The gun shows 28 inch barrels, standard extractors and aftermarket installed Miller single trigger. The right barrel ischoked .06 for improved cylinder and the left barrel is choked .10 for light modified. The stock measures 14 ¼ inches to the end of the hard rubber pad and 13 ¼ inch to the end of the wood. The stocks are plain walnut withstandard pistol grip and standard checkering. The barrels show 80% to 90% original blue with 2 small white beads added. The frame shows 30% to 50% case hardening drifting to grey. There has been some light cleaning onthe left side and some minor scratches. Stocks are lightly refinished. The action locks tight and the bores are full length for 2 3/4 inch loads. Est. $1100-$2200
