TLS signed “J. P. Richardson,” one page, 8.5 x 11, KTRM letterhead, June 21, 1956. Letter to important country music disc jockey Slick Norris, in full: "Got your letter and was sure glad to hear from you. I have never met you Slick, but in 54 Jay Miller, Al, Bob Terry and myself all went to the D.J. convention in Nashville and I did meet Jimmy only briefly at breakfast one morning. You ask did I have a regular show of my own here at K-TRAM. Right now I have a full time job with my Uncle Sam. Although I have been at K-TRAM for many moons. In fact I was program director when I was drafted. I'm on leave and I'm doing Roy's show while he is on vacation. It won't be long before I'll be out. I've been wanting to come over and see you folks but I am stuck away in El Paso at Fort Bliss. When Jimmy needs some material let me know I've got a couple of things that are Newman typed tunes. I think maybe He can use. Meanwhile we'll be running those 'DOT' records around our turntables." In fine condition, with faint toning from prior display. Encapsulated in a PSA/DNA authentication holder, grading the autograph as "MINT 9."
