RARE Period antique attributed to J J Meeks Furniture Makers NY Secretary desk 1836 to 1859. This Secretary is unsigned but we know from similar examples that Meeks made this masterpiece. All the veneers are book matched and the book matching runs up and down the front of this secretary desk. The condition including the finish is all original. We just had a professional rub out and wax the finish. This two piece Secretary desk measures 87 inches high, 47 inches wide,24 and three quarter inches deep at the base and 13 and one half at the top.
