The lightly engraved lock is marked "J. J. HENRY / BOULTON" and the top barrel flat is marked in script "A. Albright" flanked by simple zigzag engraved designs. Fixed brass blade front and dovetailed rear notch sight. Brass furniture including large decorative, engraved patch box and 4 1/2" toe extension. Double set triggers and brass trigger guard with grip extension and mounted with a full length maple stock with brass forend cap secured with 3 brass wedges with silver escutcheons. Cheekpiece with decorative silver inset sunburst flanked by silver inset diamond pattern. Skip line checkered wrist and wooden ramrod. Powder horn measures 8 1/2" in length, silver bottom and screw on top with graduated spout, one ring on the horn and a ring on the bottom.

Condition: Good. The barrel has a dark brown patina with bright edge wear with moderate flash pitting at the breech end. The lock, hammer, frizzen, pan and spring have a silver gray patina with pitting on the hammer, frizzen and pan. The brass has an aged patina. The stock is good as repaired. The forward about 16 1/2" has been pieced in and there is a repaired crack on the left side of the forearm back of the middle barrel wedge. The stock has a nail repair at the hammer as well as some of the wood missing. There is a 2" area directly ahead of the rear ramrod pipe has been cut away and the stock has been varnished and remains solid. The action is fine. The powder horn is very good. The spout spring is broken and the silver has a dried residue of a protective coating. Attractive grain pattern in the horn.
