J.H. Merrill Civil War era percussion carbine, First Type, .54 cal., 22” barrel, wood stock with brass patchbox, #6651. This gun is in overall good to very good condition showing an even brown patina on metal surfaces, flat breech lever without eagle on lock, good+ bore, good markings, crisp action, brass barrel band, trigger guard and butt plate; saddle ring and bar retained; very good condition wood half stock.
