'Turkey Gun' Engraved blitz action drilling featuring side-by-side 3" chambered 20 gauge barrels atop a .22 Hornet barrel. Produced in Ferlach, Austria circa 1972 by Johann Fanzoj. Ferlach has a long and upstanding tradition of producing some of the finest hunting weapons of all types dating back to the 1500s and continues to this day. Ferlach firearms are known to have the perfect balance of quality, beauty, craftsmanship and functionality. Configuration: French greyed scalloped receiver with side-clip fences and ribboned Germanic scroll & game scene engraving featuring grouse on the left side & quail on the right, blued 26" barrels with matted sighting rib & Greener-style crossbolt, slightly raised blade front sight with bead top, automated flip-up rear sight, claw mounted Redfield 1-4x scope with duplex reticle, extractors, double triggers with single set trigger in front, bushed strikers, sliding barrel selector mounted on the tang, Greener style safety, sling swivels, finely point checkered fancy walnut splinter forend with Deeley release and pistol grip shoulder stock with horn grip cap, cartridge trap, beaded right handed cheekpiece & Old English recoil pad. LOP measures 14.25" and the fixed chokes measure Imp Mod/Imp Cyl. The barrel rib is marked "RIFLE RANCH, PRESCOTT, ARIZ. - IMPORTER". Includes a black leather wrapped locking trunk case with partitioned interior lined in red felt. Case contains a key and 20 gauge snap caps. Drilling shows little to no visible wear but has some scattered dark splotches on the barrel. Action is tight, the bores are pristine, optics are sharp and the wood stocks are near fine with a 1/4" hairline crack extending from the receiver on the left side of the buttstock.
